A lovely Pét Nat Style sparkling wine from a rare region, Calabria in Southern Italy. 100% hand harvested Magliocco Canino from 28 year old vines. Naturally refermented in the bottle (without added sugar). Opens with aromas of fresh lavender, ripe red fruit, blueberries, raspberries, Mediterranean herbs and salty sea air. Full of crunchy fresh red fruit with more complexity that your average sparkling rose. Closes with a bit of brioche-y biscuit-y goodness from the long lees contact. Great acidity makes this a perfect wine for aperitifs or pairing with raw fish or shellfish.
