2019 Recoltant Cabernet Sauvignon

Recoltant is made by Britt Richards, protegé of Napa icons Philippe Melka and Nic Morlet. She’s an up-and-comer on the Napa Valley winemaking scene.

The wine’s big flavor, full body, uplifting acidity,  judicious use of new oak and loads of fine, silky, age-worthy tannins all work together seamlessly. Rather than one definitive fruit flavor the black cherries, berries, plum and pomegranate come at you in unison. Bay leaves, tarragon, cedar, vanilla and cinnamon toast compliment the great fruit.
