2019 Loring Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County
This Pinot Noir is sourced from the Rancho La Viña, Kessler-Haak, and the Spanish Springs Vineyards and sees 10 months in 15% new French oak. Only 200 cases were made.
Medium to medium full bodied, with lots of red cherry fruit, flower and spice on the palate. Fairly round and smooth, and very easy to drink.
90-92 points, Jeb Dunnuck. "Coming from a handful of sites in Santa Barbara County, the 2018 Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County sports a deep ruby/plum color as well as notes of candied cherries, violets, Asian spices, and underbrush. It's another rounded, polished, incredibly attractive wine from Loring that has plenty of fruit and texture, good complexity, and a balanced, approachable style."
