2019 Dutton Ranch 'Kyndall's Reserve' Chardonnay

Russian River Valley, California

Vineyards as old as 54 years contribute to this white, which is stainless steel, barrel, and concrete-aged separately. The separate lots were blended together prior to bottling to best preserve terroir and different fermentation styles. With an arousing nose of pineapple upside down cake, this wine just sings on the palate. Succulent notes of ripe melon, vanilla wafer, and honeysuckle line the mouth. Velvet suppleness is luxury defined. Sweet lemon and brown sugar intensify its complexity. Dutton Ranch farms more than 80 separate vineyards in the Russian River Valley.  Only 484 cases were made.
