2018 Thymiopoulos Xinomavro 'Naoussa'
100% organic Xinomvaro from 25 year old, non-irrigated vines around the village of Fytia. Grapes are macerated for 18 days with a small percentage being whole cluster, fermented with indigenous yeasts for 1 to 3 months and aged for 8 months in French oak vats.
Light to medium bodied, with flavors of dark cherry, plums and sundried tomato, alongside bright acidity and surprisingly firm yet ripe tannins. For fans of old school Pinot and Nebbiolo.
