2017 Côtière Pinot Noir 'Presqu'ile Vineyard'
Santa Maria Valley, California
Wow! One of the most delicious California Pinots I've tasted in a while! I love this guy's (Kevin Law) wines! 100% Pinot from the acclaimed Presqu'ile Vineyard down in Santa Maria Valley. Wine was aged in once-used 500L French oak barrels and bottled unfined and unfiltered. ~Mike Guerra, Enoteca Direct
95 points, Antonio Galloni's Vinous. "The 2017 Pinot Noir Presqu’ile Vineyard is not only a gorgeous wine, but it also shows what this vineyard is capable of in terms of texture, body and overall class. Succulent red cherry and plum fruit is pushed forward, with hints of spice, leather and dried flowers that develop in the glass. The 2017 is simply stellar. That's all there is to it."
94 points, Jeb Dunnuck. "Brought up all in once-used barrels, the 2017 Pinot Noir Presqu’ile Vineyard is another winner from this team. Ripe red currants, passion fruits, ground herbs, earth, and spicy notes all give way to a ripe, rounded, yet beautifully pure, elegant effort that has rocking complexity and fine, integrated tannins. Very much in the style of this fresher, more focused vintage, this is a rocking little wine."
