This micro production winery only recently became available in the United States for the first time! Francesco Annesanti is a passionate and artistic man who makes pure natural wines- practicing organic farming, using only native yeasts, stainless steel for fermentation and aging, minimal sulfur and no fining or filltration. A blend of Barbera (no relation to the more well known varietal from Piedmont) and Merlot. Delicious, juicy, easy drinking and medium bodied red with lots of red and blue fruit, herbs and leather notes.
