2016 Loring Pinot Noir 'Rancho La Viña Vineyard'
Santa Rita Hills, California
Rancho La Viña Vineyard is located in the southern valley of the Sta. Rita Hills. It sits on a perfectly situated bench high above the valley floor. As it's exposed to lots of wind, the clusters are very small with tiny berries, which leads to very supple and concentrated wine.

91 points, Jeb Dunnuck. "From a site located on the southern edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, the 2016 Pinot Noir Rancho La Viña Vineyard has a pretty, complex, candied red fruited profile that has a plenty of sappy flower character that shows more with time in the glass. One of the more fresh, lively wines from Loring, with medium-bodied richness, a tight, vibrant texture, bright yet integrated acidity and a good finish, it will be better in 1-2 years and keep through 2026."
