2016 Loring Pinot Noir 'Boekenoogen Vineyard'
Santa Lucia Highlands, California
Located smack dab in the middle of the Santa Lucia Highlands Range, the Boekenoogen Vineyard sits higher on the hill than Garys' or Rosella's Vineyards on very lean, rocky soils. Planted in 1997 by John Boekenoogen on the cattle ranch his family has owned for five generations. Yields are held to three tons per acre. This was Loring's first vintage from this vineyard.
